Q. I have skylights, do you do those as well?

Currently, we are equipped to do the outside of skylights only. They would vary in price according to the size. Please ask your technician when he arrives. Some skylights can be done on the inside, please ask your technician when he arrives.

Q. Can you do 3rd story windows?

Yes, we have ladders, the latest technology, and experience to reach just about any window. Please let our technicians know when they arrive of any concerns you may have before they start.

Q. How much per hour do you charge?

We do not charge by the hour, but rather by the job/window.

Q. How long will my windows stay cleaned? How soon do I need to hire you again?

Most customers say that they like our service two times per year. We can schedule it however often you wish to do so. We offer discounts for cleaning that is more than two times per year, just ask your technician for details.

Q. What if I only want the outside of my windows cleaned, because I like to do the inside myself?

We can certainly accommodate that for you.  Sometimes customers asks us to do this and forget that they have screens that can only be removed from the inside so please let us know if you will not be there when we do the outside only so we can make arrangements before hand.

Q. What do you do with the gutter debris from my gutters?

We will put it in garbage bags and either haul it away or put it in your trash, whichever is convenient for you.

Q. I have gutter guards on some parts of my gutters, will I be charged more?

Not usually, unless it is most or all of your house we will not charge you extra for checking these parts of your roof area. Please ask your technician if you are concerned about any extra cost for gutter cleaning due to gutter guards.

Great Question! Our technicians can provide advice on this while on site.

As of July 1, 2020 we do take credit cards! Of course, we also take cash and checks. Please make out your checks to "We Wash Windows".

Q. I have a party coming up this weekend! Can you do my windows before my guests arrive?

It depends on two items. 1. What does our schedule already look like leading up to your party. If we can fit you in on the normal schedule, we will do so. 2. How much of your house do you really need the windows cleaned? If guests are not going to be on the second floor where most of your bedrooms are, then we could do what we call a "party clean" which would involve the first floor and any other designated windows by you. Please ask your technician for more details on an actual price.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Make sure they are insured, bonded, and do carry worker's compensation. Things happen. Damaged windows or siding can cost lots of money. Check their rating on the BBB. Are they even rated?  What are their references?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

Our work stands out from others because of our attention to detail from when you first call or email in, to our 3 day "have your estimate" guarantee, to our superior job quality, and also our superior customer service during and after your service. We want you to be happy with the job, and we won't leave until you are happy or we will keep coming back until you are 100% satisfied.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A company staff poll says "We enjoy seeing the smile clean windows bring to people's faces".

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

What soap do we use?

It is a secret but we will say we use a professional grade cleaner that is tough on dirt, but safe for your plants, animals and home, and gets the job done. The real secret is in the squeegee blade itself.

Q. Why should I have my windows cleaned professionally when I can do it myself?

Short answer is it really does make a difference. Paper towels and Windex just doesn't do the job satisfactorily. Plus, window cleaning can be a dangerous job involving ladders. We Wash Windows has more than 25 great years of experience cleaning windows and our reviews show it. Window Cleaning also is a good way to make a great impression with friends, family and visitors, whether you are trying to sell your home, having a party or just want your house to stand out on the block. People do notice. Choose us and see the results.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

We are not a small, hard to compete with mom and pop organization that scoots by under the radar hoping to not be seen because of lack of liability or worker's compensation insurance, lack of quality equipment, or equipment in disarray. We spend lots of money to maintain a professional reputation, completely legal business structure constantly consulting with professionals to make sure we are always ahead of the curve and competitive with those that also play fair. What many people do not know is window cleaning is a huge national industry with thousands of small and large companies nationwide with professional organizations and conventions held with the International Window Cleaning Association being most notable. The industry continues to evolve with equipment, patents, safety, and ideas.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

I enjoy washing windows, but most of all I enjoy the satisfaction it brings as customers are able to invest in the things that matter to them.
